The Cock Inn is a grade 11 listed coaching house dating back to 1800, situated on the edge of the village of Blakeney and positioned between the river Severn to the south and the Royal Forest of Dean to the north. The surrounding countryside is a haven for walkers, ramblers, cyclists,wildlife enthusiasts and tourists who just love the British countryside. The Inn is in a prominent position on the A48 and is approximately 13 miles from both Gloucester to the north and Chepstow to the south.

At the Cock Inn, all our comfortable rooms are en-suite with television, beverage facilities and full central heating. There are a range of room sizes, so please just let us know the number in your party and we will recommend the right accommodation for you, be it a double, twin, family or single.

Breakfast is taken in the dining room and offers a choice of a full English breakfast as well as lighter choices. We are happy to cater to any special dietary needs, just let us know in advance if possible.

At The Cock Inn, we serve food every day and guests are welcome to choose from the menu or specials board from a good and varied range of dishes. We offer an excellent choice of wines, spirits, lagers and Real Ales in the bar as well as exceptional food at lunch and dinner. The ingredients for our delicious, freshly prepared food are sourced locally, wherever possible, for quality and flavour. We have a broad range of dishes to suit all tastes with vegetarian and children’s choices too. If you have any special dietary needs, do let us know, in advance and we will do our very best.
